Sweater - American Eagle, Skirt - Madewell (on sale!), Bag - Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini, Watch - Michael Kors, Bangle - House of Harlow, Sandals - Franco Sarto, Sunnies - Ray-Ban, Necklace - Stella & Dot
I randomly saw this Madewell skirt in a youtube video and instantly fell in love so I patiently waited for it to go on sale and purchased it on Shopbop a few weeks ago. My closet isn't full of fit and flare skirts, skater type skirts: in fact, I barely own any. Maybe it's because of my more voluptuous behind (aka, bubble butt!), but I've always felt like these types of skirts did not fit my body type. But the print in this Madewell skirt totally spoke to me and I knew it would fit right in my closet. And you know what? I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm loving the fit and flare on me! It's so comfortable, and no need to worry about a bloated stomach showing like it does with a pencil skirt! Plus, this skirt is made out of a breathable cotton which is great for those hot summer days.
Hope you're all having a good week! Kind of wishing the sun would come out, even if I can't see it from my office!
Thanks Kate for the pictures, once again! ;)

Haha, thank you! It is indeed! :)
DeleteI love the skater skirt style. Your skirt looks fantastic on you, such a great simple print that you can wear with so many things. I love that you've given it more of laid back vibe here with your flat sandals and simple sweater. So so cute.
