The week is almost over! Thank goodness because that means I'll be on vacation until the new year! I know I've said this before, but I really really need a vacation. I can't wait!

I picked up this Joe Fresh sweater (which I've had my eye on for a while) for $15 when the store was having a tax-free day. Score! It's a cotton blend sweater, so it's not super warm, but the cowl neck makes it very cozy! And you can't beat the price!

With another snowstorm currently in progress, I can't help but think of newer and better ways to bundle up. What better way to do that than with a collage of my favorite items of the moment! I must own a fur collar (preferably of fake fur, unlike the one I've picked) and a pompom hat this season! And yes, I know the Club Monaco Liza hat isn't necessarily cozy, but I love it so much! I'm coveting so many Club Monaco items at the moment - I'll be counting down the minutes to their (hopefully good) boxing day sale!

Bundled Up

It's cold guys. So cold that my car wouldn't start this morning. Usually this kind of weather happens in February for us! Because of this, staying bundled up is starting to be very important. One of my favorite and warmest coats is this lovely Miss Sixty coat I bought online years ago for a steal. It's made of wool, is the perfect shade of grey, and fits perfectly in the sleeves and torso, effectively keeping the heat in. Now, if only the buttons would stop falling off, we'd be like two peas in a pod!

Dressing up with kensie!

I've long been a fan of kensie clothing, and specifically, of their cute dresses! They have the cutest selection of fit and flare party dresses which are absolutely perfect for the holidays! I'm absolutely in LOVE with the print of the dress I'm wearing today - it's so fun and colorful! To keep the gorgeous funfetti pattern the focus of this look, I decided to pair it with a white blazer to make it stand out. Since it's so cold where I live, I also decided to add tights to the look! What do you think?

FYI, for us Canadian gals, kensie is available on The Bay website at an excellent price point. In fact, a lot of the items are on super sale. I wouldn't say no to this dress or even this one for the holidays. How cute are the prints?

Silk Dots

Nooo, it's Monday already! Can it be the Holidays, like, now? Only a couple more weeks of work and I'll be off work for a bit! I can't wait to sleep in, wake up to the smell of my Christmas tree, have time to make breakfast in the morning, lounge in my pjs, eat lots of chocolate (as if I don't already do that) and drink a ton of tea. And watch movies! Watching movies is one of my boy and I's favorite activities and we've barely had a chance to do it in the last few months because a) he comes home from work too late, and b) we're too exhausted and we'd fall asleep during the movie. We did get to watch Home Alone yesterday which was so fun! I saw it a few times as a kid so it's funny how little I remembered from the movie! 

FYI, this Joe Fresh blouse is the shit. If you're looking for a silk blouse, look no further - it's comfortable, made of quality silk and it's a great piece to upgrade your closet. Shades of Berry

Sorry about the cheeky title today - I just had to. Berry shades have been on my radar since the end of the summer and while I've been picking up pieces here and there, I thought it might be fun to pull them all together into one look! I've been really enjoying wearing berry toned lipstick as well! It's funny how a change of season will make you look at a color very differently.

It's almost the end of the week! Thank goodness because the week has been dragging so much. I can't wait for that sleeping in day on the weekend - I really need it!

P.S. That's not dandruff in my hair, it was snowing when my sister and I took these pictures ;)

Good morning friends!

Sometimes, there's nothing that feels more right than jeans and a fitted blazer. It's my go-to outfit when I'm going out and I'm not sure what to wear. I love wearing jeans, but feel they can look a little too casual when worn with just a t-shirt. As soon as I add a blazer and some baubles to the mix, I feel like my look is a little more complete!

Hope you've all had a good weekend! Mine consisted of a visit from a bestie, my significant other's birthday and obligatory party, and a Christmas parade. Overall, pretty amazing!
