I don't know if it's the nice weather we've been having or what, but I've been shopping like a madwoman lately! A lot of today's items are newer, including my new favorite flats. As much as Forever 21 can be on the cheap side, I find myself completely loving some of their items. These flats are cute and comfortable! And I'm always down for a soft floral print. I'm also very pleased to be adding a pastel blue blazer to my wardrobe! I was lacking in light colored blazers, and this Smart Set option is perfect to add to a Spring/Summer wardrobe.

If there's something I've been obsessed with these past few months, it's stylish, comfortable footwear. And one of my favorite and most comfortable pairs of the moment are my quilted black Sperrys. Back in December, I won a giveaway to Style NV, a Canadian shoe retailer, and thought Sperrys would be a perfect basic shoe to add to my wardrobe. Four months later and almost no snow left, I can finally wear them! One tip though - don't wear them right away in the rain. I wore them last week in torrential rain (because ya know, they're BOAT shoes) and they stained the bottom of my feet! I looked like I walked in ashes all day! Still, I'm smitten with how comfortable these are and am contemplating the platinum version.

We had a little party for my boyfriend's friend's 30th birthday, and fully expected to wake up Saturday morning to an intense cleaning session but my boy surprised me! He apparently had a burst of energy at 6 in the morning (after I had gone to bed) and cleaned and picked up everything. There wasn't one thing out of place, and considering I'm a little OCD, that's saying something. So my Saturday was a lot more relaxing than I expected!

I had been waiting and waiting for these gorgeous Banana Republic cropped flowered pants to go on sale - and it finally happened a few weeks ago! I absolutely love them! While some (aka, my lovely boyfriend) might think these look "like a screen door to a garden", I'm obsessed with the watercolor feel of the flowered print, and the layered window pane print. It's definitely not a print for the faint of heart! I decided to pair it with a simple white tee, but I can't wait to add a jean jacket into the mix!

I hope everyone had a good long weekend! Mine was spent traveling a bit around the province and visiting family, eating chocolate, sleeping in and watching movies. It was great, and exactly what I needed. Too bad I'll have to work off that food and chocolate for the next few weeks! I've started running again as the sidewalks are clear and the weather is nice and it's been having a blast. Whenever I start running, I immediately want to stop - I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with this. Those first 5 minutes are torture. But after that, it's really calming! I always see a major shift in my mood when I go for a run. I swear, this beautiful weather is life-changing!

Alright friends. My obsession into gladiator sandals is full blown - might as well make a post about it! I'm absolutely smitten with graphic look and versatility of gladiator sandals. They can totally dress down a look, yet look completely cool and casual with a pair of khakis. I've yet to purchase a pair, but the Nine West Authority and the Dolce Vita Pinko have completely stolen my heart. I've also noticed some brands have made their gladiator sandals two versions - flats and with a heel. I'd be alright owning the Michael Kors Winston in both the flat, and heeled version! J Crew also released a flat and heeled version of their T-Strap sandal.

For a printed blouse, this Joe Fresh silk shirt has gotten so much use! It's such a great piece to add with any look - I've worn it with jeans, colored denim, blazers, layered under a sweater... its versatility never ends! And now with summer near, I'm looking forward to pairing it with skirts (no tights!) and shorts!

Sadly, we woke up with snow again in New Brunswick today. But luckily, it's very wet snow and the weather has been pretty warm, so it's not going to stick around for too long. Fingers crossed! I can actually see grass in my backyard now - the end is near!

Happy Monday friends!

After a such gorgeous weather on Saturday, I'm feeling like Spring is really under way! It really just takes one beautiful day to beat these winter blues. My Sperrys were even worn all weekend!

I guess I jumped on the window pane trend a little late, but I couldn't say no to this graphic blouse I found at Dynamite a few weekends ago. It's incredibly soft too!
