Comfortable footwear has been really important in my closet recently. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'm tired of blisters and sore arches. Sometimes I just want to be comfortable! One way I've been doing that is by wearing these Keds. Sweet damn they are comfy! I had been dying to pair them with a white piece of clothing, and this Old Navy dress was the perfect candidate!

Oh and do you like my new sunnies? After a year (literally!) of pondering the purchase of these reflective aviators, I found a pair at a Winners in Quebec. Done and done! Winners has been quite good to me lately with so many good finds. Have you found anything good at Winners lately?

Denim Days

I've been sliiiightly obsessed with denim lately. Because my work environment only allows denim on Fridays, I try to wear my favorite denim as much as I can in my spare time. While my boyfriend jeans are my most worn pair, these J Brands have been worn quite a lot as well! I had been looking for a dark wash pair of skinnies for a while, and these are the perfect shade of dark, but not too dark denim. Plus, the jegging like material makes them so freaking comfortable!

As the weather has been getting warmer, I've been feeling the need to buy summer dresses (even if I don't need to)! I already own the flowered H&M number which I picked up about a month ago, but all these beauties are making me swoon. I've been majorly loving cut-out dresses (obsessed with this Banana Republic take), flowy shift dresses, and stripes. Which one is your fave? 

Bare Legs!

I'm a little late on today's post, but it's because I've been a zombie all day! I tried to give myself a bit of a boost by working out at lunch - fingers crossed that the last few hours of work pass quickly!

As the title of this post says, I'm in bare legs! Nothing beats wearing a dress to work for the first time in months and not freezing. Freedom is back! I had been holding out on wearing this dress for a bit, refusing to wear it with tights. I love the colorblocking of it and the pattern in the skirt - a lot of people thought it was a shirt/dress combo!

Denim Jacket

Good morning! I'm back from Quebec after having a wonderful time with my oldest 3 friends. Spending some time with them was exactly what I needed to shake me out of the routine I was in. We shopped, walked in the Vieux Quebec and one of the highlights for me was visiting a spa! Quebec is such a beautiful city!

One of the things my friends and I noticed in Quebec, is that everyone was wearing denim jackets. It was insane! I really don't think I've ever seen denim jackets in such great concentration. I was one of them because I brought this Mavi denim jacket with me and wore it almost every day! It's the perfect jacket to add on top of anything - dresses, floral tops, hoodies. And I love the semi-acid wash of the jacket! After eyeing it for a year (seriously) I finally bought it a couple weeks ago, and I'm so happy I did. While I do own another (H&M) denim jacket, nothing beats the comfort, or wash, of this one.

Classic with a Twist

Sometimes I like to break things up in my closet. While I normally would have worn a white button-up shirt with jeans or black skinnies, I thought it would be nice to add an unexpected item - a moss colored pair of jeans. Weird right? Fashion is all about fun, and trying new things, so why not!?

Striped Jacket

Good morning friends!

As much as I love this Gap jacket, I never wear it! I never seem to pull it out of the closet, and it's a shame because it's so comfortable and I absolutely love the stripes. Today, I wanted to style it casually with denim and a grey t-shirt from Target, which by the way, is the most comfortable and soft t-shirt I own! Next time I wear it, it'll hopefully be with that perfect white summer dress I hope to find on my upcoming trip to Quebec this weekend! #hellozara
