Skirting

Skirt - Vintage, found at local consignment boutique, Top - Old Navy, Belt - Linea Pelle, Shoes - Marc Fisher, Watch - Michael Kors, Sunnies - Joe Fresh, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff MAC Mini

Little anecdote of the day: I was walking to work this morning from my car (I work in a busy downtown area) minding my own business, when this car got in my way right at the corner where I would turn to head to the office, and wouldn't move off the sidewalk to let me pass. I looked at the driver, and he pointed ahead. So I turned the corner (because I couldn't see) to find myself pretty much face to face with a deer. I wish I could have snapped a picture but I didn't want to scare the poor thing. It was quite still for a bit, then took a few steps towards me, and because I said to it "heyyy buddy!" it quickly turned around, jumped a fence and successfully crossed a busy street. I hope it makes it home!

Happy Monday!

    1. I think it did because some locals spotted it further away, close to the forest and away from the traffic! Poor thing!

  4. What a crazy story!! I haven't seen a deer in the road for ages (which is weird because there are a lot near where I live out on the roads). You're top and sunnies are really nice, I would feel so cool wearing these!

  12. Love the color and detail of your skirt. Pretty lip color too. And what a crazy morning encounter. It makes you wonder what his a.m. agenda was, and how he ended up there.
I love random happenings on seemingly run of the mill days.

  15. That skirt is so stunning and unique! Haha that's crazy that you saw a deer downtown. The only wildlife I see here are raccoons (one hissed at me not too long ago lol).
