Black & Mint

Dress - Love (via Asos), Blazer - BB Dakota, Bag - Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC, Sunnies - Joe Fresh, Shoes - Zara, Bangle - Garbo, Bracelets - H&M & Banana Republic, Necklace - H&M

This shoot was my first experience with a tripod. And man, oh man, it was difficult. It was cold, the sun was playing peek-a-boo with me, and people were giving me strange looks. But all and all, I had so much fun and I'm quite happy with how things turned out. The one advantage of using a tripod is that you can take as many pictures as you want. That way, you're not abusing your significant other or your sister's patience (how many times have I said, "just one more of the shoes please?")

My extra long weekend will be a good one as I will be going on a little trip where, holy crap, there will be a Zara store. I can't wait!

  2. You have an incredible body and I love this outfit - you look great; really great! I really like your shoes and I've been hunting for a pair like them.

The tripod sounds like a good idea - so far I've just set my camera on self timer and balanced it on all sorts of weird things: today I used a match box. If I end up investing in a good quality camera one day I'll be sure to consider investing in a tripod too!

    1. Thank you Flora! Tripods are a great investment! Although, I did the same thing as you for years - it's an art the balancing of a camera on various objects! ;)

  8. Love the oversize lace pattern of the dress, the mix of accessories, and the touches of black to tone down the mint hue's daintiness!

  11. "Just one more of the shoes, please." That sounds so familiar! I'm lucky that my husband loves photography, I don't know how I would manage with a tripod - although I must say, I'm so impressed by your photos, especially for a first attempt. And your mint dress is stunning :)

  12. Gorgeous outfit! Love your RM purse (I have the same one in grey!) And I can totally relate to wanting to use a tripod instead of bugging your significant other and/or a family member! "Why do you need so many pictures of one outfit?!" - my boyfriend
