Goodbye Tartan

Smart Set Tartan Pants, American Eagle Sweater, Zara Jacket (similar one), J Crew Bag, Calvin Klein Pumps, Joe Fresh Necklace, Forever 21 Bangle, House of Harlow Sunnies

Good morning friends!

As much as I am 100% ready to welcome Spring into my life, I will be a little sad to see my tartan items put away until the fall. I found these tartan pants at Smart Set on super clearance, and told myself I'd save them for next year (tartan never goes out of style!) but couldn't resist wearing them just once before it's too late.

Hope you all had a good weekend! I spent my Saturday helping my sister sort through her closet. She just got a new job and wants to look more professional - her previous place of employment was very casual. Let me tell you, it was SO fun playing personal stylist! We ended up at Target where she found a great pair of black cropped skinnies - a true staple in my closet. On Sunday, I cleaned up the place a bit and made soup, and waffles! How was your weekend?

  1. I love tartan for the Fall but I'm actually looking forward to putting away the plaid and switching to pastels and florals. This winter has stuck around way too long! Great look, the pants fit you perfectly. Hubby made some blueberry waffles yesterday, so delish! :)

  2. Ha ha, famous last words - I'll buy these and save them for next year! I've done that so many times, but I can never resist wearing whatever I buy at least once before the seasons change. And I can't blame you for not being able to resist these pants. I haven't really gotten on board with the tartan trend but I do love the subtle colours of these.

  3. Sounds like you had a very productive weekend, and it's always great to deal with other peoples closets, much easier than your own!
The pants will definitely still be amazing next fall.

  4. I feel the same way about the tartan blazer in my closet, but I can't seem to give up the tartan scarf I swiped from the boy just yet.

  7. Tartan should become a neutral, just like leopard, haha! I love these pants on you, they look super classy. Hopefully you can get lots of wear out of them next year! They'd be super cute with ankle booties too I bet! xo

  8. Ok normally I have a hard time getting on board with tartan, but these pants are great. I also love playing stylist to my family and friends.
